Arthur McDonald celebrates his 35 years of chaplaincy, recounting some of his stories about the many years he has served at Palen Creek C.C.
We also get to meet two new chaplains – Jona and Robert who will be serving in Woodford C.C. as of February 2015.
Right now, we recognize that there is a real need for chaplains in some centres so we ask for your continued prayers, that God would raise up workers for the field.

In this issue, we celebrate Ray Euston’s 90th birthday and reflect on the founding of the Prisons Mission Association of Queensland, now known as Inside/Out Chaplaincy.
We also read about one chaplain’s journey in supporting a prisoner through court and sentencing, recognizing that chaplaincy is not just about what happens inside of our prisons.
We also ask for your continued prayers for our chaplains, particularly over Christmas, as we gain insight into Christmas day for a prison chaplain in our state’s north.

Praise God for a number of recent new beginnings in the life of Inside/Out Chaplaincy. This month’s edition takes note of some changes to key personnel in our board, a review of our AGM and celebration service and also our new office location.
This month we also pick up on the story of our newest chaplain – David Hiscock – who is serving with us in Southern Queensland Correctional Centre. I note that there remains a number of vacancies for chaplains to serve with us, throughout Queensland.

In this month’s edition, we celebrate the fantastic story of a man from a South Queensland prison who became a believer whilst in prison. He was subsequently connected to a local church and has been baptised. He is now involved in the leading of Alpha courses – praise God.
I also commend to you our annual celebration service, being held at North East Baptist Church, on Saturday March 22nd from 6pm, with our annual general meeting for members from 5pm. Details enclosed.
We also note that there remains a number of vacancies for chaplains to serve with us, throughout Queensland.

For the first time ever, we are pleased to make available our bi-monthly Magazine, The Inside Story, electronically. We will continue to add each edition to this page also.
Our most recent edition of The Inside Story features a wonderful insight into the opportunities one of our chaplains is experiencing in Woodford; a short bio on one of our recent trainee’s (Cheryl Banks); a touching poem from another trainee chaplain; and our Director calls us to once again consider a life marked by prayer, making the most of the opportunities we have for corporate prayer.
