Myles Waldron’s passion for chaplaincy and pastoral care is seated in a deep gladness that recognises God’s call on his life as it meets a deep hunger in the world for hope and love.
Born and raised in western Queensland, Myles has worked across central, south east and the far south west of the state. He is no stranger to the tyranny of distance, the challenge of isolation and the powerful importance of connection. He has worked at the coal face which has seen him take community initiatives with marginalised people, both youth and adult.
Myles’ extensive experience having worked professionally in banking and business, then professionally in pastoral care and ministry for 13 years including eight years at state and strategic level with the Churches of Christ, brings an exciting depth of knowledge and wisdom to the role of Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy Coordinator.
At the age of 13, Myles became a follower of Jesus and believes you never stop growing in faith. Myles has an inspiring devotion to Jesus Christ and a heart to be guided by the Bible and by the Holy Spirit in all of life and ministry.
