God is the God of creation. The old creation, the one which we all share in, is ultimately going to be remade. The good news is that this has already begun with the resurrection of Jesus and all of us have a part to play in the scope of God’s cosmic renewal.
The even better news is that we regularly witness God’s work of ‘making all things new’. I am encouraged to read Geoff’s story this month, because his story is one of the growing number of people who we can declare as ‘new creation in Christ’. Yes this is God’s work and God alone can bring that about; but God has graciously chosen to use His people and even the institutions of our state in bringing new life, new birth and new beginnings.
I want to personally invite you to come and see and hear and take part in our annual members meeting and celebration. Not only will you meet people like Geoff, but perhaps discover your vocation, your part to play in the new creation, right here in Queensland.
