In 2024, Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy’s parent organisation, Carinity, is celebrating 75 years of supporting Queenslanders in need.
The not-for-profit recently celebrated its 75th anniversary with an inspirational gathering of the Queensland Baptist community in Brisbane.
The event brought together Carinity service users, past and present employees, volunteers, church and Queensland Baptists representatives, and key stakeholders of the Baptist movement.
Also in attendance were people whose lives have been transformed thanks to the support of Carinity and Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy, as well as our chaplains, donors, supporters and ministry partners.
As well as prison chaplaincy, Carinity has chaplains in hospitals, aged care communities and schools.
Carinity also cares for the aged and frail and provides affordable and integrated retirement communities, shelters for homeless youth, help for families and young people experiencing difficult times, support for people with disability, and alternative education for teenagers who struggle in traditional schools.
